Entering a new chapter.

With renewed momentum and support from our Board of Directors, new Chair Justin Merino of Desert Region Fire Safe is leading the effort to reboot and strengthen SBCOVOAD — restoring collaboration and rebuilding connections across the county’s diverse network of partners.

Joining him on the leadership team are:

• Michael Fox, Vice Chair – San Bernardino Mountain CERT Coordinator and Rim COAD

• Eric Cimuchowski, Secretary – Involvement Minister, Victor Valley Church of Christ

• The Treasurer position is currently vacant.

Together, this team brings extensive experience in fire prevention, emergency response, community engagement, and faith-based coordination, ensuring SBCOVOAD is ready to meet the evolving needs of our county’s communities.

We look forward to reconnecting with our partners and welcoming new members as we rebuild this vital network.
