2025 December Adverse Weather Events

San Bernardino County VOAD, in coordination with the San Bernardino County Office of Emergency Services (OES), is supporting recovery and cleanup efforts for communities impacted by recent flooding and mudslides.

Through our partner network, we are working to connect affected residents, responding organizations, and volunteers in an organized, safe, and effective way. Our goal is to ensure needs are documented, assistance is coordinated, and volunteer efforts are aligned with vetted organizations to avoid duplication and ensure accountability.

Homeowners: Request Help
Organizations: Offer Support
Individuals: Volunteer Opportunities

What is VOAD?

VOAD stands for Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster. We are a network of nonprofit, faith-based, community, and government partners who work together to support communities before, during, and after disasters. Rather than providing services in isolation, VOAD helps coordinate efforts, share information, and connect people with the right resources at the right time so recovery is more organized, effective, and community-centered.

Homeowners Who
Need Help

If your home or property has been impacted by flooding or mudslides and you need assistance with cleanup or debris removal, please register through Crisis Cleanup (CC).

Crisis Cleanup allows VOAD partners to track requests, coordinate services, and assign work to responding organizations. Submitting a request does not guarantee service, but it helps ensure your need is visible to organizations that may be able to assist.

What to expect:

  • Your request will be reviewed and shared with vetted VOAD partner organizations.

  • Partners may contact you directly if they are able to assist.

  • Services are provided as capacity allows.

Organizations Offering Support

Organizations that are able to provide cleanup, muck-out, debris removal, case management, housing support, or other recovery-related services are encouraged to participate through Crisis Cleanup (CC).

Using Crisis Cleanup helps ensure coordination across agencies, reduces duplication of services, and allows unmet needs to be identified more clearly.

Participating organizations should:

  • Register by completing the Service Provider Registration Form.

  • SBCOVOAD will follow up with your organization to complete the onboarding process and assist with registration in Crisis Cleanup (CC).

  • Once registered, your organization will be able to claim cases, provide services, and close cases after work is completed.

  • Coordinate with SBCOVOAD as needed to help align efforts and avoid duplication of services.
