Good morning, SBCOVOAD Members and Partner Organizations

Just a quick reminder that our October San Bernardino County VOAD meeting is tomorrow at 2:00 PM.

“Less Meeting. More Mission. All in Under 45 Minutes.”

As always, our VOAD meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month at 2:00 PM using our regular Zoom link.

We’ll have our usual partner updates and announcements, plus an opportunity to share any current needs, resources, or upcoming activities across the county.

Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Representatives from nonprofits, faith-based organizations, community groups, government agencies, volunteer teams, and partners actively engaged in disaster preparedness, response, recovery, or community resilience across San Bernardino County.

Debra Williams

We are pleased to welcome Debra Williams, Founder and CEO of Building Resilient Communities, as our featured guest speaker.

Debra will introduce the Inland Equity Grid (IEG), a collaborative initiative focused on strengthening community resilience throughout the Inland region.

The IEG brings together community organizations, nonprofits, government agencies, and other partners to improve coordination, share resources, and use data to identify and address gaps affecting vulnerable and underserved communities.

Through cross-sector collaboration, the initiative seeks to advance equitable access to resources, support informed decision-making, and develop coordinated solutions to systemic challenges.

Why this matters to VOAD partners: The Inland Equity Grid offers an opportunity to explore how stronger partnerships, shared information, and coordinated resources can improve disaster preparedness, response, recovery, and long-term community resilience.
